The Avalanche Rod is a great all-rounder rod suitable for beginner/intermediate players. It also has two passives: A 10% chance to start emitting snow particles above the casted spot, increasing the chance to get the Frozen mutation significantly. A 25% chance of hooking a fish with the Sleet (2.4x) mutation, making this rod a good C$ C$ farming rod for beginners. It's appearance resembles a long icy blue spiral design and glowing blue accents. It is recommended to get the Kings Rod after you buy this rod and get 100,000C$ C$.

Obtainment
The Avalanche Rod is found near the second fireplace while following the path up the Northern Summit. It costs merely 35,000C$ C$, making it a decent and affordable rod.
Enchantments
For better overall stats (which is more suitable for an all-rounder rod), Quality. For improvement, Lucky, Divine, or best of all, Immortal. Note that Immortal is an exalted enchant, and will require Exalted Relics, which are better used on late-game rods. For fishing in Roslit Volcano or the Brine Pool, Invincible.
