• Axe of Rhoads was a direct inspiration of legendary musician,, the guitarist for. • The rod itself resembled his 'Polka Dot Flying V', built by Karl Sandoval in 1979 specifically for Randy. • Axe of Rhoads played the instrumental riff of "" by Ozzy Osbourne, released in 1981 as the opening track to "Diary of A Madman" which was the last studio album made before Randy Rhoads' death on March 19, 1982. The rod's description is also a line taken from the song. • The Heavenly, Blessed, and Chaotic mutations were chosen for the rod in honor of Randy and Ozzy's life, along with the chaotic history.
