The Chrysalis is a Stage Fishing Rod obtained from a set of quests at the Underground Music Venue.
The Chrysalis WAS an End-Game game rod that could be obtained in the Underground Music Venue. It has three passives. +10% progress speed. 92% chance to apply the Bloom (4x) mutation, and an 8% for Flora (7x). 20% Chance to give a random fish from the pool the player is in, with a guaranteed chance for the Flora mutation and a 20% higher chance for both Shiny and Sparkling on the given fish. It’s indicated from a purple eye hovering over the bobber, and the eye will disappear after granting the fish.

Obtainment
To obtain the Chrysalis, the player must enter the Underground Music Venue and do all 3 of Hex's quests. The quest items for Chrysalis can be traded for and appraised. For the first quest, the player needs to get an Aurora Globe Jellyfish. This can be obtained by using an Invincible Aurora Rod. For the second quest, the player needs a Hexed Magician Narwhal, which can be obtained by using No-Life Rod or by appraising. For the third and final quest, the player needs a Hexed Moon Idol. This is obtained by fishing during a Blue Moon event. As stated before, the Hexed can be obtained by using No-Life Rod or by appraising.
Trivia
