The Mythical Rod is a Stage Fishing Rod obtained from the Travelling Merchant for 90,000 C$.
The Mythical Rod is a mid-game Rod with low and, however it's main highlight is it's mutation passive, with a 30% chance to apply the Mythical Mutation to anything caught. It is sold in the Travelling Merchant's shop for, who spawns every 30 minutes near a random island The cheaper alternative to this rod is the Midas Rod with the Midas mutation, however it is highly recommended to get the Mythical Rod. (Or the Trident Rod, which is generally considered to be better.)

Enchantments
The best enchantments for the rod are: For faster times due to the rod's poor: Swift or preferably Hasty. To catch fish more easily due to the rod's low & and/or for perfect catches, Controlled, better yet, Resilient, or best of all, Mystical. Note that the Mystical enchantment will require Exalted Relics, which are better used on late-game rods. Alternative enchantments include: For luck improvement: Lucky, Divine, or best of all Immortal. Note that the Immortal enchantment will require Exalted Relics, which are better used on late-game rods. For overall stat improvement, Quality or best of all, Mystical. Note that the Mystical enchantment will require Exalted Relics, which are better used on late-game rods. For catching heavier fish, Unbreakable, or preferably Herculean. Note that the Herculean enchantment will require Exalted Relics, which are better used on late-game rods.
Notes
The Mythical mutation makes fish worth 4.5x more. The Mythical Rod's passive grants an average multiplier of 2.05x per fish (you make on average 105% more money than no passive) making it a decent passive for making money. However, the Trident Rod and Heaven's Rod are still better overall in endgame. To help with the rod's low, it is recommended to use boosting bait, such as Seaweed and Deep Coral. Mythical Rod is the one of the best mid-game money making rod's, being relatively easy to obtain and having the Mythical mutation passive that comes with it.
