Additionally, its maximum weight capacity is limited to, which may restrict its effectiveness when trying to catch larger or heavier fish. One of the standout features of the Phoenix Rod is its passive ability, which has a 40% chance to apply the Scorched mutation. This effect grants a 2.5x sell multiplier, slightly boosting the selling price of affected fish. The rod is a solid option for mid-game progression but gets overshadowed over stronger options such as the Steady Rod.
