Cerberus was teased on 6th January 2026 at 6:33PM EST. In the game logo, the Cerberus was labeled as "Hellhound", since myths say "It is the Hellhound of the Underworld". Perhaps Hellhound was the old name for Cerberus. It is the first brainrot in Steal a Brainrot to have 3 heads, the second being Hydra Dragon Cannelloni and the third being Hydra Bunny. Despite Hydra Bunny being a reskin of Cerberus, Hydra Bunny is named after Hydra Dragon Cannelloni. Cerberus isn't technically a Brainrot, since it's a Greek mythical creature created long before AI was even a thing (it was created in 1956, AI was officially "created" as a field of study at the 1956 Dartmouth Conference). is the oldest "Brainrot" to exist, first depicted in 8th — 7th century BC. Cerberus has the old Headless Horseman stats. Interestingly, they both are part of the oldest "Brainrots" to exist. Cerberus was first depicted in 8th - 7th century BC in ancient times as mentioned above, whereas Headless Horseman was inspired of a 1820s tale titled "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". Cerberus is the second brainrot to represent Hell, with the first being Guest 666. On February 6th, Sammy announced that Cerberus would be removed from the Red Carpet and put into the Secret Lucky Block. However, Sammy decided not to do this, stating it wouldn't be fair for people that got it before. Celestial Pegasus was then introduced to be successor of it, hence their same stats. Sammy replaced with in the Fuse Machine for a few hours during February 24th, 2026 Taco Tuesday.
