Design & Path

Meltdown resembles an abandoned facility covered in snow. The facility has multiple small buildings and a larger one, which is open. It contains multiple barrels and wooden crates. Multiple street lights can also be seen next to the path, and a few dumpsters next to some buildings. The map is surrounded by hills and sparse trees. Lava can be seen flowing down from the hills. The path begins at a cave and turns at a cliff. Then it takes a few right and left turns, each time going around obstacles. Then it wraps around a few trees, and finally into another cave.

Rewards

The game calculates how many Coins Coins, Gems Gem and you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more (Friday – Sunday), any earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map. Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Strategy

There are quite a few decent cliff spots around the map, like the cliffs near the exit or near the middle, making cliff towers like the Ranger and Sniper highly viable. The DJ Booth can be used to increase their range, allowing them to cover most of the map. Ground towers should be placed around the middle of the map.
