Description
The Executioner is a ranged ground tower that was unlocked by triumphing Totality Tower. It could have also been obtained through a gamepass for 750 Robux during the Solar Eclipse Event. The Executioner's most recent sale had it require 799 Robux to purchase. The Executioner attacks by throwing its axe at an enemy. The axe will travel to that enemy and damage it, and then bounce to other enemies. Any enemy that is in Executioner's range when the axe is thrown may be targeted. The enemy it bounces onto depends on the Executioner's current targeting option. This axe can bounce 3 times (4 times at Level 3-4 and 7 times at Level 5). If the axe runs out of bounces or there are no enemies to bounce to, it will travel back to the Executioner. The Executioner's axe can also hit other enemies without directly targeting them if they are in its flight path, even if it used all of its bounces. However, it can only hit up to three enemies at once per axe tick. The effective firerate of the Executioner depends on when the axe returns to it; if the axe bounces multiple times or it travels long distances to its targets there will be a greater delay per attack. The Executioner's high damage and ability to damage multiple enemies makes it a great tower for area of effect. However, it is very weak against singular enemies. The Executioner has hidden detection at Level 4 and flying detection at Level 0. The Executioner has a placement limit of 9 per player.

Strategy
Because of how the Executioner works, the axe may take longer to return to it, increasing its firerate. Because of this, the Commander will be less effective or have no effect on the Executioner's firerate if the projectile travel time is longer than the firerate. Each hit of the Executioner's axe can trigger a firework from the Firework Technician. Since usually the axe will be hitting multiple times, it will drastically increase the odds of getting a firework by sheer quantity, which will also greatly increase the Executioner's damage output. The targeting option of the Executioner affects what enemy its axe will bounce onto. Certain targeting options will allow the Executioner's axe to hit more enemies, increasing its DPS. Setting the Executioner's targeting to Farthest will make its axe bounce onto enemies the furthest distance away from the Executioner, making it travel on a longer route, which gives it more time to hit enemies. Due to the Executioner's ability to damage multiple enemies, this can be used as a great tower to clear out hordes of weaker enemies and even minor bosses at Level 5. The Executioner may damage an enemy more than once, effectively increasing its DPS. The Executioner should be placed far away from the path, as it makes its axe travel on a longer route, giving it time to attack more enemies. The Executioner's range can be increased by the DJ Booth. If the Executioner is placed next to a path, it may not be able to hit an enemy that is next to it.

Trivia
The Executioner is the second ground tower that can detect flying enemies, with the first being the Hunter. The Executioner may have based been on the Executioner card from Clash Royale and the Boomerang Thrower from the Bloons Tower Defense game series. The store description of the Executioner is a reference to the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise. The Executioner's flying detection may have also been based on the Executioner card's ability to attack air troops.
