Minesweeper

MapsTower Heroes

Overview[1]

introduced: 1st April 2025; wave 20 speedup

Minesweeper is a map created for the April Fools 2025 event. It is a raid map with 8 spawns, 2 in each corner, they start unable to spawn enemies but 2 spawns unlock at waves 0, 10, 20, and 30. The main gimmick is you have to play a 37x37 tile minesweeper map with about 175 bombs. Your goal is to unlock a path to the centre, where your base lies, else the enemies will attack random tiles and likely hit a mine. Towers cannot be placed on an unmined tile, and only one tower per tile, though towers with large hit-boxes can take up adjacent tiles. When a mine is hit, all nearby enemies & summons get killed and nearby players get flung. If a player hits it you lose 100 base HP, but if an enemy hits it, you lose 34. Press Q to swap between "mine" & "flag" mode, "mine" is used to reveal tiles and "flag" is used to place or remove a flag from a tile, preventing it from being mined.

Tips

Leave one slime alive on waves 1 and 2 to give yourself as much time as possible to sweep. The number on a tile indicates how many mines are adjacent to the tile, including diagonally. Using this knowledge, you can safely break every tile adjacent to a 0. If you correctly flag a mine, and the number next to it is satisfied, you can break the tiles around that number, unless if you find other numbers around the tile that you are about to break. If you have exhausted every 0 on a specific path, try coming in from another path, as there is a chance you can find a safe opening. If there is a corner of 1's, then there is a mine in the inner corner, which must be next to the 1 diagonal to it. If there is a 1 adjacent to at least 2 blank tiles, that are staring at each other diagonally, you can break the tiles diagonal to the 1 with some risk, until you reach a number higher than 1. This does not apply if the blank tile is also next to any number higher than 0. It is advised to make the path a spiral with the boss path being at the start of the path. It's advised to send mana to the ones who are defending. Only sweep if: You are on PC, as in mobile you can easily get a hit. If you are on mobile, it is strongly advised to go on flag mode Hayes is one of the best choices for early defense due to the infinite range being able to attack all enemies. Buzzer can also act as support for Hayes, as if you use the ability on the final wave, the crows will explode when killed by the boss.

Patch history

Shoop Da Whoop in Hard Mode used to have 500k HP before getting nerfed. This is currently the only map to instantly reward you a boss or enemy modifier upon beating it on any mode. Evil NYAN and the Annoying Lemon were going to have immunity to status effects during testing. However, it never got immunity which is the reason why the map is easy late game. If you use the Minesweeper modifier on this map, it turns into a normal raid map. The sticker gained from the "Minesweeper Master" badge (clear the board on medium or hard) randomly switches from a smiley face, smiley with sunglasses, and a frown. They tell you the exact number of mines in the map regardless of there being a flag on one or not, while showing progression on tiles. Having the "Minesweeper Master" badge turns the face of your flags golden. Discount Dog was going to be disabled in a way that sets him on fire, referencing the "This is fine" meme. It was scrapped. If you place a flag while an enemy is mining it, then the tile will still be destroyed. There's a rare chance for the Leek Mirais to have a different face. Stick Figure's idle is the classic fighting pose. This is believed to be one of the hardest maps in all of the game, because of the mine to tile ratio. All new enemies reference an old internet meme. DINO references Domo. Leek Mirai references Hachune Miku. Nyan references Nyan Cat. Tux is based off the Linux mascot of the same name. Dat Froggy references Dat Boi. The various colors of Stick Figure are referencing Alan Becker. Stargleam Shimmerhooves references My Little Pony OC's.
