Behavior

A boar will wander aimlessly until a player gets within its detection radius or deals damage. If a boar has entered its passive state far enough away from their original spawn point, they will teleport back, creating a puff of smoke. Once a boar detects a player, it will chase them until either the player dies or escapes its detection radius. Upon getting close, a boar will attack a player, then dart away, before resuming the chase. If a boar is attacked by a player's Pet, they will switch to targeting the pet until a player attacks them again. Boars can go into the campfire area if attacked by the player.

Taming

If a player has an Old Taming Flute or better, they can click on a boar to start the taming minigame. While the minigame plays, the boar will be docile. Once it has been completed, the boar will ask for a Morsel and Corn. The process must be repeated two times. Taming can only happen if the chosen boar has not taken damage.

Drops

Upon death, a boar may drop the following Items

Tips

Tactics against Wolves will also work against the boar.
