Any (Assassin Class) (25); 120 (Assassin Class) The Kunai, also known as Throwing Knives, is the only non-reloading Ranged Weapon in 99 Nights in the Forest.
It is capable of dealing medium damage about the same as the Revolver, but at a quicker rate. The Kunai is the only weapon that disappears from the player's inventory when out of ammo. It has a Snow Biome counterpart, the Frozen Shuriken. You can obtain an infinite amount of Kunais. They can be obtained in Ruby Chests or buying the Assassin Class. If you have Assassin level 1 there is 5% chance for a Kunai to spawn in any chest, but the percentage chance raises to 10% when the Assassin class is level 3. The Kunai has an sharp arrow point as sharp as a knife with a red handle.
How to get it
Scavenge it from the forest, loot cultist camps, or craft it at camp.

Tips
It is recommended to use the Kunai as soon as possible once you obtained it, since it can deal damage like the Revolver but quicker and more efficiently. Is useful against raiding the Cultist Stronghold, the Ice Temple and Cultist Base. Try to do headshots, they do more damage.
Trivia
Interestingly enough the Kunai is called Throwing Knives when previewing the Assassin Class. Kunai are inspired by a main weapon in the anime, Naruto.
