Adopt Me Codes: Redemption and Troubleshooting

How Adopt Me promotional codes differ from toy codes, where to redeem each type, and how to check an error against the developer’s instructions.

Adopt Me supports promotional codes through an in-game redemption kiosk. Toy codes can use a different redemption route. This guide explains the distinction and how to troubleshoot a code; it does not claim that any particular promotional code is currently active.
Choose the right redemption route
Start with the instructions that came with your code. A code advertised for an Adopt Me promotion and a virtual-item code packaged with a toy are not interchangeable.

Uplift's Codes FAQ distinguishes the in-game promotional kiosk from Jazwares virtual-item redemption. Check that distinction before repeatedly entering the same code in the wrong place.
Redeem an in-game promotional code
- Open the official Adopt Me experience.
- Find the Safety Hub and look for Agent Ruhi beside the kiosk.
- Interact with the kiosk and enter the promotional code carefully.
- Select the redemption button and read the result. A successful redemption displays the reward.
The developer provides a visual walkthrough showing the building, NPC and kiosk. Use it if you cannot identify the location from the text instructions.
If a code does not work
An error is a reason to check the code's source, destination and timing. It is not proof that all Adopt Me codes are fake. Uplift says the kiosk only accepts entry while a promotion is active; a closed kiosk can mean that a code has expired. That does not establish whether a different promotion will run later.
For a damaged or missing Jazwares code, use the support route in Uplift's FAQ and keep your purchase evidence private. Do not post a photograph of an unused code in a public comment while asking for help. A screenshot can give another reader everything needed to attempt redemption.
Check a claimed working code
Look for a dated developer announcement that names the promotion, then compare its timing with the date you are playing. A search-result title containing the current year is not evidence of a new code. Keep the reward description separate from the redemption string when copying it.
Codes have existed after the old Twitter Bird system: the developer's August 2025 Wagon update announced daily codes for temporary XP and Bucks boosts. That historical announcement establishes that the system was used; it does not make those old codes valid today.
This page previously claimed that no codes had been issued since 2020. That statement was incorrect and was corrected after checking the developer's redemption documentation and update archive on September 30, 2026.
For progression that does not depend on a promotion, see pet ages and tasks. Keep code hunting separate from trade decisions: a reward's availability alone does not establish its trading value.
