Types of Microchips
Players can purchase a Basic Raid Microchip from the Mysterious Scientist for either 100,000 or any physical fruit. The Basic Raid Microchip can be used to start Basic Raids by pressing a button in a Raid area. Players standing inside of the light blue tubes in the Hot and Cold island (Second Sea) or on top of the yellow platforms in Castle on the Sea (Third Sea) will be teleported to the Raid event.*To purchase a Basic Raid Microchip, the player needs to be Lvl. 1100 or higher. Purchasing a Basic Raid Microchip using 100,000 has a 2-hour cooldown, however, exchanging a physical fruit does not have a cooldown. Basic Raid Microchips only contain Flame, Ice, Sand, Dark, Light, Magma, Quake, Buddha, and Spider raids. Players can purchase an Advanced Raid Microchip from the Mysterious Scientist for either 1,000 Fragment or any physical fruit worth more than 1,000,000. Currently, there are only two Advanced raids; Phoenix and Dough. Before an Advanced Raid Chip is purchasable from the Mysterious Scientist, the player must first meet certain requirements and/or complete a certain quest for each fruit raid. Players can summon the Dough King by getting a God's Chalice and 10x Conjured Cocoa to craft a Cake Chalice. If the player deals 10% damage or more to the boss, they will get a Red Key to open the door to the Cake Scientist's room at Sea of Treats. To unlock the ability to host Phoenix raids, the player must have 400 mastery on Phoenix, then head to the Sick Scientist near the back of Cake Land. The player can then heal him and then he will let the player buy Phoenix Raid Microchips. Players can purchase an Order Raid Microchip from the Arlthmetic NPC for 1,000 Fragment. The Order Raid Microchip can be used to start an Order Raid by pressing a button in the Secret Laboratory. Players standing inside of the dark blue tubes in the Hot and Cold island (Second Sea) will be teleported to the Raid event.
Notes
The player cannot have multiple microchips in their inventory at once, as trying to purchase another one will trigger the dialogue: "You already have a special microchip". The player will lose their microchip upon leaving the game or dying. This can also happen if the player joins the Order Raid.
