Overview
The Lava Golems are large, rocky, humanoid creatures made out of magma and rocks with yellow glowing eyes. They are tall with sharp, yellow claws, and have a pair of orange horns on their head, along with a hole on their waist and yellow-tipped spikes covering their entire body. Their burly physique suggests the word "Golem" in their name.

Appearance
The Lava Golems are large, rocky, humanoid creatures made out of magma and rocks with yellow glowing eyes. They are tall with sharp, yellow claws, and have a pair of orange horns on their head, along with a hole on their waist and yellow-tipped spikes covering their entire body. Their burly physique suggests the word "Golem" in their name. In general, the Lava Golems are just the Magma Fiend avatar from the Roblox catalog, but resized.
Spawning
During the Volcano Event, each time a volcanic crack is "closed up" and the volcanic pressure reduces, a meteor will be launched from the top of the volcano and towards the ground near the relic. A Lava Golem will appear where the meteor landed and start to chase a player or the relic. These enemies appear mostly near the fossil/relic in the Prehistoric Island, although they can spawn quite far away from the relic and slowly make their way towards it or a player. They will only spawn when the event has started and a crack has been fixed, and cannot be encountered any other way.
Behavior
The Lava Golems will run towards the relic or any nearby player and attack them with their fists or use the, and abilities of the Awakened Magma fruit. They will try to damage the relic and will rapidly damage it when they get close. They have Elemental Reflex, just like any other Elemental Fruit users, so Aura will be needed to damage them with any physical attacks. Damaging them keeps their attention to the player, but they will go back to destroying the relic after a certain period of time if not damaged again.
Tips & Tricks
The most effective method is to use Creation’s Build Mode. Build walls to prevent Lava Golems from approaching the relic. Using Love's ability is a great way to keep the golems away from the relic, however, it can only lure them away, and when more golems spawn, it becomes a problem. Use a fruit that can take on a large crowd quickly and efficiently along with stuns and knockback moves. Buddha is the best option for this, but there are good alternatives such as Yeti, Gas, Mammoth, T-Rex, and Phoenix. Dragon is recommended, as its fully transformed ability can fix volcano cracks while simultaneously attacking the Lava Golems.
Patch history
A total of 16 Lava Golems will appear over time. However, players are not required to defeat all of the Lava Golems, as they only need to prevent them from dealing damage to the relic. The Lava Golems are not considered as Sea Event enemies, so the Leviathan Crown will not give an extra 35% damage buff. The same goes with the Terror Jaw not giving an extra 20% defense buff. Lava Golems' Magma skills don't damage the relic, and only their M1s do. Due to the Lava Golems' large hitbox, the breaking effect of Shark Anchor's ability may be triggered upon hit. During the Christmas Event, the Lava Golems could turn into Elves, but they would not drop any candies. During the Valentine's Event, Lava Golems can drop Hearts, due to their level being 2500.
