Summary

The Rambo is a rather large combat knife made truly by use for real hunters. It has a level requirement of Lv. 21 and a small price of $90. It is a short-range blade with high-end damage as well as decently long bleed damage, therefore being a good weapon for people wanting to deal high amounts of damage up-close and real personal within a short timespan. 3 quick stabs with this weapon on an unarmored player and it will bring them right down, neither should they not heal within the timespan because of how much bleed damage it has.

Usages & Tactics

Despite its rather big size for a knife, it still acts and swings like one, so it will have to be used the same way as any regular knife but just a little more punishing for both ends. Always try to get real close and personal with any target that you want to use this weapon on. Unfortunately, if you don't like that, you'd still be forced to play like that due to the short hitbox it has. It also tends to be a good defense and offense weapon, though. Just as long as you do not try to spam swinging this weapon, because as much as 10% stamina for a 36 damage outcome may seem, that 10% stamina can quickly turn into 90% in a very short period of time if not very careful. If you're going against this weapon, always remember to keep your distance, or you'll pay a very fatal price for it. Its effectiveness against gun wielding unarmored opponents is actually quite good. It's very slightly longer swing cooldown isn't too big a problem since it's mostly just a period where you avoid getting shot before throwing another deadly 36 damage swipe in. It's swing pattern is also extremely reliable and easy to work with. It's not nearly as punishable as something like a golf club or metal bat and it's mobility allows you to cut at your opponent whilst being difficult to hit. It's decent range and quicker attack speed as well as speed while swinging makes it a lot more difficult to avoid and makes its effective range higher than other blunt weapons.

Blocking

The Rambo cannot block. Rambo can be blocked by most melees

Trivia

This weapon is similar to the Hallow's Knife and Cursed Dagger, however tends to be much more cheaper for something either more or less quality. The model for this weapon used to be much smaller, about the size of a Bayonet, but was increased to be much bigger, now being around the size of the Taiga Machete. The name Rambo is most likely based on the knife used by the protagonist of the Rambo film series. Category:Melees
