When Eggson first touches a machine, he hits the side of it with his cane, giving it 20% of total completion. This can only be used once per machine per player but works on multiple machines on the same floor.

Personality

Eggson is portrayed to behave elderly. He typically has his mind on eggs, as seen in various dialogues mentioning eggs, or just saying, "eggs". He has a lot of wisdom and knowledge, considering that he is an elder. He also gives advice and short stories to Toons who he feels may need it to calm themselves down so they can feel better. Being known as the previous Egg Hunt Champion, Eggson also really enjoys egg hunting, even desperately asking to let him take the eggs out of the fridge so he can hide them, despite Cosmo saying "no".

Requirement Strategies

For the first and only requirement, focus on picking up and extracting Machines. The Machine and Basket count increases the further you descend, so you can earn more Baskets.

Golden Skin Quests

Reward: Skin Then, either encounter him normally or ask the distractor to bring Twisted Eggson to the Elevator. For the second quest, play normally to Floor 5 or 10, complete the floor, then rejoin and do it all over again. Continuous gameplay will waste time as the higher Floors will take longer to complete. For the third quest, try and touch every available Machine on the floor. If a Machine is already being extracted by another player, try to ask them to let you tap it with the chat feature or the Sticker. Additionally, you can just go to a solo round, tap all Machines, and leave, as that would be a bit quicker.

Strategies

Eggson is a balanced Toon, but leans slightly into the role of extractor because of his Ability, Fixer Upper, which fills a Machine by 20%. While not much of an increase, this isn't forced onto the first Machine you find on the start of the Floor, so you can try extending your Ability to other Machines. The Ability also stacks for multiple Eggsons, useful if you're in an Eggson-only run. What you can do at the start of a Floor is to get to all the Machines you see and activate your Ability. If other Toons reach a Machine before you, you can ask for the Machine, use your Ability, and leave, though if you are asking a high Extraction Speed Toon, this may actually take longer than leaving them be. Additionally, doing a Machine by yourself will generally be much faster and wastes less Stamina and reduced the risk of you getting seen by other Twisteds while finding Machines. Therefore, it is much safer and quicker to just do any unoccupied Machine and boost any nearby ones. You can use his Ability on Machines where slow extractors such as, or are extracting, making Machines finish much quicker. The average Machine completion time for Eggson is uniquely 28 seconds, as he only ever has to fill 80% of a Machine (36 units), thanks to his Ability. Due to his average stat spread, he doesn't have clear deficits nor strength in any of his stats. Support your weaknesses with aiding Trinkets; be wary of faster moving Twisteds like, and as your average Stamina and Movement Speed may pose an issue depending on your style of gameplay.

Patch history

Eggson is the only Easter Holiday Toon who has no interaction with the Christmas or Halloween Holiday Toons. Eggson is the second Toon to not be considered as an unknown adult age, instead being older than all of the others, with the first and third being and respectively, with them being children. Eggson, and share the same stats. One of his interactions with is a reference to the Egg Hunt and The Hunt events. Eggson is the second Toon as of now to speak more than once consecutively in a dialogue, speaking thrice, the first being. This occurs in his second dialogue with. Eggson has one of the shortest descending dialogues, simply saying: Prior to v0.17.1, Eggson would only complete 10% of a Machine with his Passive Ability, and for an unknown reason, his Ability did not work on Treadmill Machines. The latter may have been due to Treadmill Machines coming out after Eggson was released. Despite being featured in the song Wilting, Eggson, alongside Flyte, do not have any lines. Eggson is the only Toon with a custom idle animation that's exclusive to a Skin, this being the Skin, where he spins his skateboard instead of fixing his glasses like his default idle.
