Appearance

Finn is a light blue fishbowl that's filled with water. He has an outline that's colored a darker shade of blue, and he wears an orange life jacket and white trousers with orange stripes. He also has a missing tooth. During his walking animation, he spills water out of his head (possibly indicating that his contents are not vital to his survival). It is mentioned in multiple interactions of his that there is a toy fish named Barnaby Wilikers in his head. In his 2nd idle, Swimmy Barnaby Machines, and extraction animations, Barnaby is visible as a striped, purple wind-up toy fish.

Personality

Finn is an energetic and extroverted Toon. He has an interest in sea life and likes to talk about it with the other Toons, especially in the form of fish puns. He sometimes can go overboard on it and continue making puns, even if a Toon doesn't like it, based on his interaction with. He seems to struggle picking up on social cues or noticing another Toon's feelings, to the point of making distressed, though he isn’t malicious, merely unintentionally annoying or upsetting others. He can also be somewhat forgetful, such as forgetting not to get too close to, based on their interaction together. Finn appears to be a people pleaser based on the VHS in the Aquatic Floor. He loves to educate and tell jokes, though in the video where he interacts with, coming up with jokes with Razzle's help, he explains that the kids and customers want more jokes, giving in but wishing they’d listen to his facts too. In a cartoon clip, tries to talk to Finn about fossils, but Finn shows no interest until she brings up shark fossils and/or underwater fossils, showing that Finn has little to no interest in anything else besides marine biology. He gets very excited when his interest in marine biology is acknowledged as shown when accidentally reveals he listens to the facts or when compliments his intelligence in the field followed by bringing up a fact he recalls. Overall, Finn is a joyful Toon who tries his best to make others laugh with his jokes or amazed at his facts that may be unappealing or annoying to some, likely telling the jokes to stay on other Toon's good side.

1 Quest completed: Title 2 Quests completed: Sticker 3 Quests completed: Skin For the first Quest, it is recommended to just play normally, as Twisteds like him are still fairly common on the early Floors. However, when you reach a high Floor like 25, it is recommended to restart, as Uncommons get rarer the farther you go. This can also be done with on the Daily Twisted Board. For the second Quest, play normally as Finn, but skip out on the and pick, giving you the highest chance of an Ichor Leak. For the third Quest, alongside, it is recommended to use a speed boosting Trinket like or having a Toon speed you up when a Floor starts, like. This can help you reach Machines quickly. You can also use extraction boosting Trinkets like to be able to extract more Machines. With how Fishing Rod synergizes with this Quest, it should be done quickly. It can be more easy in a solo run, as you'll have dibs on all Machines, you’ll only need to reach Floor 4 to extract 10 Machines if you choose to do this instead.

Requirement Strategies

For the first requirement, focus on picking up Research Capsules and extracting Machines. The Machine and Capsule count increases the further you descend, so you can earn more. For the second requirement, you can go into multiple runs and do as many machines as you can. To do this, focus on using a Toon that has a fast Extraction Speed or Big Skill Check, You can also use trinkets that increase your Skill Check or Extraction.

Strategies

Finn is a beginner friendly Toon that serves greatly for those who want to practice their skills if they struggle with extracting, whilst also providing great escapability with his Passive Ability, Reel In. His Passive Ability can help with his main weaknesses, average speed and subpar Stamina, gaining a 35% Movement Speed increase for 10 seconds, every time a Machine is completed. This makes it a great survival tool for him given the amazing speeds it gives when multiple Machines are finished at once, with 4 Machines completed allowing him to outwalk outside of Panic Mode. To see these speeds in full for every Machine that can be possibly finished at a time, see the table below. While his Passive Ability is active, Twisteds such as (normally lowers speed by -25%, fully countered to a 1.2% speed boost while Ability is active) are reduced threats. Ichor Leaks can also be less of an issue, as walking through Ichor Puddles won't be as dangerous (normally lowers speed by -15%, fully countered with a 14.7% speed boost). Since Finn will always receive a speed boost during Panic Mode, it's a good idea to preserve a little Stamina for it. Given that Finn's Stamina is lower than average, choosing the cards will provide a significant increase to his strength and allow him to make use of his ability more often, and his above average extractability makes him great for completing Dyle's Floor with ease. If otherwise unable to do these, prioritizing Stamina Items and managing Stamina by not running as much when not being chased can be great alternatives.

Patch history

In Finn's head lies, a purple-striped plastic wind-up fish toy, visible in his Idle animation quirk and his current extraction animation. Currently, only him and Blot have a Minor Character with them, them being Barnaby Wilikers and, respectively. They are paired together in their own Stickers. Similarly to Blot Jr., Barnaby's Skin changes in some of Finn's Skins. This makes Finn the first Toon capable of carrying an object and/or a Toon in their head, with the second being and the third being. According to in a gossip, Barnaby can blink, move suspiciously fluid, and respond to Finn. Dandy himself is the only Toon that's aware of this. Barnaby is likely a robot, since he really can move by himself, while still being framed as a toy at the same time. According to Finn's dialogue with, Finn considers him as "more than just a toy fish", implying that Dandy was completely right. One Sticker shows Barnaby in a thinking pose alongside Finn. While the Sticker isn't part of the lore, it can still show elements of it and therefore could support Dandy's gossip. In an official video posted featuring Dandy and Finn, Barnaby can also be seen having a shocked expression for a second when Finn jumps. This might support Dandy's gossip too. It is unknown how, when, and why Finn lost his tooth. Finn and have some similarities: Both were surprise Toons with no prior promotion and got released in updates with 4 Toons each. Coincidentally, both of them also appeared in a thumbnail for the v0.3 alongside. They were the Toons of their updates.
