Appearance

Sprout is a tall strawberry who wears solely a white scarf with thin pink stripes wrapped around his neck and draped over his back. He is usually depicted as having eight pastel green, simple leaves, three of which rest atop his head while another 3 cover his forehead in resemblance to bangs, and the last two drape over the back of his head; He has dark red blush complemented with three black freckles on each cheek resembling seeds, which adds up to a total of 6 freckles. His limbs are a reddish pink color, being lighter than his torso and head.

Personality

Sprout is a straightforward, overprotective, and pragmatic Toon, as shown in his Passive Ability, being coined as "Overprotective". He often brings up in his interactions, due to the latter's status as his best friend, and both have an interest in baking and cooking. However, unlike Cosmo, he doesn't fall for tricks as easily, as shown in his encounter with, and may also be pushy, but with good intentions. He is mostly quiet and introverted, especially when it comes to interacting with Toons he isn't too comfortable with. Sprout's more open and excitable to the Toons he is closer with, like when he is with Cosmo or. Because of this, Sprout is not the best Toon at socializing, shown in the interaction with. He assures if she's okay, but inadvertently points out one of her insecurities. This can also be shown in other conversations. Though he isn't as gullible, he seems to be clumsy or forgetful sometimes, as seen in a TV recording where he leaves the oven unattended, causing a fire that then hurriedly puts out. Mentioned in a log on one of the Warehouse Floors, this seemed to happen frequently, as Sam said they are always busy watching him to make sure nothing burns down. This seems to be reflected in his descending dialogue, as he may say "Did I remember to turn off the oven? Hope so!". Sprout's bluntness and no-nonsense attitude may make him come off as stern at times, despite his soft appearance. But at his core, he is very protective and caring, if a bit overbearing towards the other Toons.

Toon of the Week Quests

1 Quest completed: Title 2 Quests completed: Sticker 3 Quests completed: Skin Play until you reach Floor 5 then restart multiple times or try to get as far as you can until you encounter 3 times in a single run. This is easier by doing an organized Run or on days where Twisted Sprout is on the Daily Twisted Board. You don't have to play as Sprout in order to do this quest. As long as you have at least one Sprout on your team, and complete Floor 10, you should be able to do it. This may be easier with other healer Toons, as Sprout cannot heal himself with his Ability. You don't have to play as Sprout in order to do this quest. As long as you have the equipped, and activate it when you reach Floor 10, you should be able to do it. Try to stock up on Healing Items or play as to ensure you don't get to one heart before Floor 10.

Requirement Strategies

For the first requirement, focus on picking up Research Capsules and extracting Machines. The Machine and Capsule count increases the further you descend, so you can earn more. For the second requirement, have a Distractor Toon bring to the elevator or seek him out so you can get 5% aggro Research. Playing as also helps getting Research faster because of his Passive Ability. This will be easier if Twisted Sprout is on the Daily Twisted Board. For the third requirement, play as and try to complete his Mastery Quests by going on multiple runs. It is recommended to go on an organized Run or do specific quests in certain runs.

Strategies

Sprout is a great supporter and a superb Toon for many types of runs. His mobility is above average: with 4 Movement Speed and 5 Star Stamina, the highest in the game tied with. Sprout makes for a very capable distractor. The only real downside to playing Sprout is his low Extractability (2 Stars for both Extraction Speed and Skill Check), but this can be mitigated with Trinkets such as or. If you have other distractors in your lobby, such as or, it's suggested to allow them to fill up that role instead. The reason Sprout's utility overshadows his use as a distractor is his Active Ability, which allows Sprout to heal any other hurt Toon in range for 1 at the cost of 100. It can still complement his role as a distractor by also allowing him to heal Toons in an emergency situation. This will be a lifesaver for your teammates. So, while distracting is a great use of Sprout's talents, scavenging for Tapes and Items instead is very helpful to heal other players in your team. Additionally, if a is in the team, she can help Sprout search for Items before dropping them with her Ability. This makes Sprout better-applied as a backup distractor than the main one despite his excellent stats. Since Tapes may be hard to come by, it's suggested to prioritize healing distractors, healers, and Toons on one heart—otherwise, save around 200 Tapes for emergencies unless the Floor is particularly dangerous and you're concerned for your teammates. Having multiple Sprouts in the same run is inefficient, as the Ability cost increases by 50 Tapes per Sprout in your party.
