Effect

When a Twisted damages the user, the Twisted receives a 15% speed debuff for 30 seconds. Does not stack.

Appearance

Soul Sword appears as a light cyan sword with a darker cyan handle, adorned with a diamond. This is similar to what Twisted Soulvester holds in his render, but not being covered in Ichor.

Strategies

Soul Sword isn't an extremely good Trinket, as a -15% speed Debuff isn't enough to assist in escaping from fast Twisteds like (20.4 chase speed when inflicted), and will have little effect on slower Twisteds, it's still a decent Trinket, providing a debuff which can get Twisted Pebble's 24 chase unit down to 20.4 (around the speed of ). This is a significant Debuff, but it's not much needed as it basically gives a -like ability (but instead of the player getting faster the Twisteds slow down). may be a better alternative, providing more of a stun than just a slow debuff, though the period of time is shorter. Both trinkets are sort of similar, with one stunning the Twisted completely for just 3 seconds and one slowing down the Twisteds for 30 seconds. However, a Toon that has a large amount of Health like or (with a good amount of ) can help assist their distractors by getting hit by a faster Twisted in their loop so that the distractor can distract more easily, and then the Toon with Soul Sword can heal afterwards with healing items, or getting a heal from a healer Toon (or in Teagan’s case, healing themselves). This Trinket is also a bit more useful on low mobility Toons like, who could use the slowing to maybe be able to outrun the Twisteds. Another small niche is using it, as distracting faster Twisteds will need him to bring his Health down to 1, so when doing that, it also slows the Twisted down, making Looey able to gain distance or distract a bit safer.

Soul Sword is the only Trinket to apply a Debuff and the first way to have it on a Twisted, before Spring Fevers. Just like Blot Jr., this Trinket does not work against, and since they're either stationary or don't chase others regularly. In the case of and, it only works during their enraged states. The Soul Sword could be the one held by. If hits a player equipped with Soul Sword, her chasing speed will be lowered from 14 to 11.9, giving the slowest possible chasing speed.
