The Fire Desert is a Biome introduced in the Biomes Update. The atmosphere will appear as a tinted version of the normal sky, the sand will be orange, all terrain decorations such as rocks and cacti will be black, and cacti will be on fire. The fires on the cacti are purely visual and players will not suffer any damage when touching one. All zombies that spawn with Buildings will have a chance to be on fire, making it more dangerous for anyone who wants to loot them within the biome. It will also rain Kerosene the next day if the player is still at the biome.

Trivia
