Overview[1]
Elf; Banker Zombie; Werewolf Elf Towns are randomized groups of Buildings that can be found every 7km in Frost Bite.
Elf Towns always spawn every 7500 meters on either side of the track. They are essentially a variant of a Town. Unlike normal Towns, they will only spawn in smallest size. Elf Towns always spawn Houses, 2 Elf Cages, at least 1 Bank, and a pile of snow that is uninteractable replacing the Church. Additionally, Elf Towns may include Sheriff Offices, Doctor’s Offices, Gunsmiths, General Stores, and Furniture Stores, just like regular Towns. Like Towns, Elf Towns are a quick way to earn large numbers of Valuables quickly. An Elf Town is inhabited by Zombie Elves, which spawns in large numbers, posing a huge threat for players who are not careful. Through, with the weaponry provided at the start of the game, clearing the town should be no trouble, therefore presenting the players with a lot of loot. In addition to normal loot inside, players will have a chance to free the Elves from Elf Cages, which can be interacted with the door to unlock, after that, they will be gone from the Cage, afterwards appearing in the Outlaw's Town to help the players fight Krampus Prime and the Werewolves.

Elf Cages
Elf Cages are an event mechanic. In them, the player must interact with the lock to free the Elves trapped inside. The elves freed from the cages will reappear as allies at the end of the match, in Outlaw's Town, to help the player fight Krampus Prime and his minions. If the player ignores both Cages, a blizzard will occur and freeze the Train. If the player defeat all the Entities that spawned and get past, the pack of Elves in the Cage(s) would not spawn when you pull the level.
Blizzard
Going too far from the Town (around 500m away) without freeing at least one pack of Elves from their Cage, the Train will immediately be stopped and a Blizzard will start, these Blizzards consist of 3 waves of 4 Zombie Elves and 4 Werewolves. After around 1 minute and 20 seconds these Blizzards will automatically stop, whilst not being behind something protecting players from the way the Train is facing, the players will be “Freezing”, though, it’s unknown if this actually does anything. Each wave is announced at the top of the players screen, this also shows the enemy count. This text automatically disappears when the Blizzard ends.

Strategy
You can gather up all the Zombie Elves and kill them with an AoE weapon, such as Molotovs, Holy Water, or the Electrocutioner, made easier for their slower-than-player speed and no Runner Zombies spawn. You can also line them up and shoot them with a weapon that has piercing bullets, like the starting Rifle. The player can also lure Zombie Elves towards a fortified Train and melee them once they get stuck to save Ammunition. Be cautious — Zombie Elves can approach from side paths that are not immediately visible. It's recommended to prioritize buildings that contain the most essential or valuable items. Specialized buildings should be prioritized before regular houses since players have a much higher chance of finding useful items inside. An effective strategy to Town clearing is leading all the Zombie Elves onto the railroad, and then running them over. This saves countless bullets and time, through the player must be wary of the Blizzard if they accidentally go too far, especially with the Christmas Train's speed. Due to skipping the Elves Cage would result a Blizzard being a hazard to players, it is unrecommended to not free the Elves, not to mention the Elves would not appear when fighting Krampus Prime. When freeing the Elves, make sure to look back and forth before and while interacting, as Zombies could catch up with you from behind.
Trivia
3 Elf Towns spawn throughout the entire Frost Bite map. It is possible for Banks to spawn without any loot inside the vault due to a bug. Some Zombies might spawn inside the Elf Cages, though they do not chase the player, they can still deal damage if players are near enough. This might be because of a bug, where the Zombies' vision are obstructed by the invisible block stopping Entities to get in the Cage, as an effect, they cannot see the player and therefore not being able to move. Also, the stuck Zombies do not attack Elves inside, nor the Elves inside attack them. This is likely due to Elves are just uninteractable NPCs when in their Cages. The snow pile replacing the Church is movable, because it is unanchored. Category:Locations
