Runner Zombie; Sheriff Zombie; Dynamite Zombie; Ironclad Zombie The Evil Church is a special shop that appears throughout The Wild.
The Evil Church is a building added in the 4/10/2025 Update that can rarely be found in The Wild. It is a black version of the normal church with black benches arranged in three rows, and torches on the walls. A few zombies may spawn inside as well. Instead of a lectern, there is a large purple circle in the middle on which one of three items known as Wonder Weapons will randomly appear. Unlike other loot items, it must be purchased at the nearby cash register to be used. Only one item can be purchased per church (even in Normal Mode), meaning players must find another one if they wish to obtain the other items or more of the same one. Trivia
This is the only building outside of Fortified Towns in which items can be bought. Before it was removed, you could find Trading Posts outside of Fortified Towns, where you could buy items like Armor. It can be classified as both a standard building and a store. A Dynamite Zombie can spawn inside, which can explode and result in the item in stock being flung away, especially if it's the Spear of Longinus.
