Jack is an NPC located at Terrapin Island. They can be found sitting on bench, in the area next to Angler's house.
Jack is an NPC found above the docks on Terrapin Island sitting on the fence. He provides lore to the player about Terrapin Island. From his own words, he might sit around on the island, but he does not live there, instead he resides on his boat which cannot be found. Jack allegedly comes to the Island for the view and mushrooms.

The rocks around the island host an extreme number of special algae which filter out the salt water. All the fish around Terrapin Island are freshwater fish. The island is basically uninhabited outside of a few campers and fishers who can be found around the island. The island is shaped like a turtle!
