Obtainment
The Random Rod can be found and bought in random places in the map at a random price of 1-10,000,000 C$ C$.
Passives
50-50 passives: Fish caught will be mutated with either Jackpot (7.77x) or Unlucky (0.5x). Weight of the fish is either doubled or halved. Random rod modifications per catch: to to -77% Progress Speed to +100% Progress Speed. It is confirmed that the random rod's progress speed passive cannot bypass locked progress speed fish.
Enchantments
Due to the rod's poor stat, it is recommended to enchant the rod with Mystical to significantly boost and overall stats on the rod. Resilient is also strongly recommended if are not available.
