Passive Abilities
Each catch has a 25% chance to reward an additional 75% of the fish's base value. The money given by this passive will not change due to mutation, weight, etc. There is a 10% chance for Poseidon’s ghost to appear, summoning lightning that increases the fish's weight by 75-150%, plus applying the 5.5x sell value King's Blessing mutation. If the fish has other mutations, it will gain the applied mutation as well as the one it had on when caught.

Note that Piercing is an exalted enchant, and will require Exalted Relics. Note that Blessed Song requires a Song of the Deep relic, obtained from Captain Ahab for a Moby.

The Poseidon's Rod is tied for the second-highest with the Tempest Rod as of update 1.18.0, just behind the Abyssal Specter Rod. Since the rod's bug got fixed, it has become one of the potentially top-tier fishing rods in the game. Utilising the Divine or Immortal enchantment with this rod makes it one of the best for catching hard to catch fishes, such as the Megalodon or The Kraken among other fish and their special variants due to the high, and boosts.
