The Rod Of The Eternal King is a Stage Fishing Rod acquired by Crafting.
The Rod of the Eternal King (ROTEK) is an end-game rod with all-rounder stats. As mentioned above, the Rod of the Eternal King has 3 passive abilities: Signature & 1st ability: Royal Escort. Every 30 seconds, there is a 10% chance with this rod to summon a Royal Escort which boosts fishing by 150% for 10 seconds. 2nd ability: A 15% chance of immediately catching a higher rarity fish in the location the player is fishing in if a catch is missed. This ability makes it very forgiving for players to miss a catch. 3rd ability: A 60% chance to apply the Greedy mutation (5x sell value). Legendary, Mythical and Exotic fish with this mutation also have a 10% chance to increase their weight by 1.5x and make them much harder to catch.

Obtainment
The Rod of the Eternal King can be crafted by using the Crafting station located inside the Ancient Archives. Required level: 400 Price: 0C$ C$ 2x Golden Sea Pearl. Can only be caught while fishing for Clam in its abundance at the back of Roslit Bay. 3x Inferno Wood. Can only be caught at Roslit Volcano. 1x Lunar Thread. Obtained by fishing anywhere or from inside Treasure Chests found with treasure maps.
Enchantments
The Rod Of The Eternal King's best enchants are: To take advantage of the Royal Escort ability and for instant lure times, Hasty. To catch fish more easily and due to the rod's low and: Resilient, Mystical, Controlled or Herculean. Note that Mystical and Herculean are exalted enchants and will require Exalted Relics. For C$ C$ and to take advantage of the Royal Escort ability's increased: Abyssal or preferably Quantum. Note that Quantum is an exalted enchant, and will require Exalted Relics.
Notes
The Greedy mutation passive makes it a very good rod for money making, being a 5x multiplier at 60%. The rod is useful for obtaining a Greedy mutated Enchant Relic to get the Rod Of The Exalted One, alongside 6 other Relics.
Strategy
There is currently a bug where if you miss a catch and successfully activate the 2nd ability and get a Nuke, (from the passive) it will skip the minigame and store the Nuke, this makes macros able to get Nukes, making this rod the best rod to farm Nukes. There was a bug where the missing a catch passive had a 100% chance instead of 15% to give the player a higher rarity fish. If the player was fishing in a location that had an Exotic or Secret fish, then hooking and letting a Mythical fish go would give them either rarity fish. This bug allowed players to get an insane amount of rare fish, including Ancient Krakens and Ancient Orcas. The bug has since been fixed, and Secret fish cannot be caught with the passive ability anymore, but the player can still catch Exotic fish with the passive. Though it's back to being a 15% chance.
