Bargain is historical; the wiki describes its risky Double or Nothing replacement at the Sell Stand.

Quick answer
Grow a Garden 2 replaced flat sell prices with the Bargain (haggle) system — and most players are leaving money on the table every single sale.
How bargaining works
At the Sell Shop you can sell instantly at list price, or hit Bargain to negotiate — for a single crop or your whole inventory. The buyer counter-offers; push too greedy and the deal worsens, read the pattern and you beat list price consistently.
- Bargain: high-value crops, mutation crops, and full-inventory sales after a harvest session. The percentage gain is the same, so the absolute gain scales with the load — big loads are where haggling pays.
- Insta-sell: junk crops and small stacks. Your time per haggle is worth more than pennies of margin.
Stack your multipliers first
Bargaining multiplies what you bring, so sell after value boosts, not before:
- Mutations (including overnight Aurora Borealis mutations) multiply base value — never insta-sell a mutated crop without checking its list price first.
- Mega Seeds produce higher-value harvests to feed into the same haggle.
- Multi-harvest crops compound: each harvest is another bargaining load.
The rhythm that wins
- Harvest everything before Nightfall (see our stealing guide
unharvested crops are theft targets).
- Batch your session's haul into one big Bargain.
- Re-invest into rarer seeds during restocks rather than hoarding cash
GaG2's economy rewards seed-cycling, not bank balances.
