Design & Path

Sugar Rush takes place in a candy wonderland. This candy wonderland is inhabited by gummy bears. Multiple of them can be seen around the map, all in various colors and sizes. Some can be seen sitting, standing and laying on the ground. Some of them also hold small sticks. These gummy bears live in gummy cola bottles that have doors and windows on that are present on this map. There is also a large gummy worm on the map. The gummy worm is ridden by a green gummy bear. There are also multiple other sweet treats scattered across the map, which includes lollipops, marshmallows and chocolate bars. There is a large pink river going across the map, which has multiple treats in it. There is a chocolate bar bridge that goes over the river, with one purple gummy bear sitting on it. There is a large blue mountain on the side of the map, which has a hole inside of it, made by the gummy worm. Multiple brown and orange trees can also be found. The path starts at the blue portal and ends at a red portal. The path itself consists of multiple turns and short straight path.

Rewards

The game calculates how many Coins Coins, Gems Gem and you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more (Friday – Sunday), any earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map. Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Strategy

The Ace Pilot and Pursuit can be useful here, as the map's path creates takes multiple u-turns, which fit in their circle paths quite well. Multiple of these u-turns are also quite small, which can make low range towers like the Electroshocker, Paintballer or Pyromancer easily cover a decent amount of path in their range. The cliff that can be found next to the river can house a decent amount of cliff towers. As the map's path is quite compact, cliff towers can easily cover most or in some cases all of the path from that spot.

Update History

21 August 2024 - v1.28.0 Sugar Rush added.

Trivia

This map was originally a remake of Candy Valley, though due to its different path it was turned into a separate map. Additionally, when first shown by Your_Adversary on X, "double trouble" was mentioned, implying that this map was originally meant to have multiple paths.
