Structures99 Nights in the Forest

Overview[1]

Fairy; Acorn Wolf; Alpha Wolf The Fairy Biome was a Biome added in the 10th Jan 2026 Update. It is a mini-Biome inhabited by the Fairy and Acorn Wolves. It contains a unique structure, the Mother Tree. The Fairy Biome has teal-coloured grass, mushroom-encrusted boulders, brightwood trees, and mushroom circles. Any site that can spawn in the forest biome can also spawn in the fairy biome (child caves, playgrounds, cultist circles, etc).

Acorn Wolves

Acorn Wolves are a reskin of regular Wolves with one difference - they carry an Acorn on their back which has a 100% chance of dropping on death. These Acorns are used to revive the MotherTree (see below).

"Brightwood" Trees

The brightwood trees that start on the map are simply reskinned regular trees (pale brown instead of dark brown). They drop the same number of logs and saplings as regular trees (although the logs they drop are pale brown). The Ram cannot knock them over - this is possibly an unintentional bug. Chopping these will not contribute to completing the 'chop a Brightwood tree' daily quest. You can also get "proper" brightwood trees to spawn randomly on the map by planting seeds. These have a thicker trunk, take less axe swings to chop down, drop 5 logs and 1-2 saplings. The saplings they drop are pale brown and will grow into "proper" brightwoods. You get them from planting a better tree seed box.

Mother Tree

The Mother Tree can be revived by connecting its three roots to enchanted pools. There are four pools that spawn on the map, plus a fifth one that already has a root in it. To do connect the roots, players must collect Acorns (dropped by Acorn Wolves) and plant them near the existing roots. After planting, the root will instantly grow towards the planted Acorn. Players can plant Acorns by dragging the Acorn and holding E to plant as if it were a sapling. Players should plant the Acorn as close to the base (the thick end) disconnected root in each pool as possible to minimise the number of Acorns needed. It may require more than one Acorn to connect each root to each pool, especially if some of the pools are in a different direction or far away from the tree. Once all roots are connected to the pools, an on-screen message appears "The Giant Tree has been restored" and the forest chest is unlocked at the Mother Tree. This chest always contains an Enchanted Farm Tablet and may contain: Strong Axe Morningstar Rifle Giant Sack Cultist Gem Gem of the Forest Fragment Originally the Mother Tree would mostly spawn in the Campfire Level 2 area, and rarely in Level 3, but with the 19th Jan '26 update the spawn point has been moved to at least Campfire Level 3, and often it appears in Level 4. This new location means the chest rewards better match the revival difficulty.

Enchanted Farm Tablet

The Enchanted Farm Tablet is an item that can be placed in your sack. It needs to be put into the grinder at camp to activate it. After that, any farm blueprints purchased from the crafting table will be Enchanted Farm blueprints. Enchanted Farms have one extra row of plants, producing 9 plants per plot instead of 6. The types of plants that grow are the same as a regular Farm Plot. Enchanted Farm Plots can be stacked together (originally they couldn't).

Trivia

Whenever a player plants an acorn, all players can hear the root growing sound regardless of proximity. Acorns don't have to be planted towards the pools, and the roots can be made to grow over the entire map. Roots can grow through the grey barrier at the edge of the map. So if part of the Giant Tree is just outside your current map limits, but you've found 3 pools and want to finish reviving it, it is worthwhile dragging an acorn right up to the grey barrier to see if you can attract a root to grow through it.
