The Desert Eagle, or Deagle, is an iconic and heavy hand-cannon pistol released on October 17th, 2020, as a part of the v1.0.0 pre-beta release of Criminality. It can be found in red and gold Weapon Crates or bought from Dealers and Armories. Having powerful shots chambered to.50 Action Express, or.50 AE, this handgun is extremely lethal in the hands of a real skilled marksman. However, the weapon's large bullet size results in a small magazine size as well. Missing any of your shots could and would set you up for miserable failure if you're not careful. The only other gun rivaling such a pistol is the Magnum revolver, whose lethal ability to dish out high amounts of damage at a high range. Still, it can outperform the infamous six-shooter in most departments that separate other than from raw damage and excessive range. This weapon is considered to be a top-tier weapon according to the community, as it has the potential to easily kill an unsuspecting and mildly prepared duo, as well as its surprisingly forgiving inventory capacity.

The Desert Eagle is an Israeli-American hand-cannon chambered in.50 Action Express (AE) and compatible with.44 Magnum. There have been many variations of the Desert Eagle most chambered in the aforementioned.50AE but a notable variation the Mark XIX Desert Eagle is a gas-operated, semi-automatic pistol with a 7 round capacity in.50 AE and 8 round capacity in.44 Magnum.
Usage & Tactics
The Deagle can be considered a direct competitor to the Magnum; both have high recoil, the capability to kill only with 2 shots toward the head, and very high overall damage for both weapons. The Deagle has slightly less range but a faster fire rate, higher capacity, and a more flexible sidearm. The Deagle's main deciding factor, which makes almost all of the player base choose it over the Magnum, is the hammer on the Magnum. You must hold down the fire button for a split second before your Magnum shoots. As mentioned before, it is also more forgiving of torso shots. This is best used as a long-medium-range weapon, and will fall in effectiveness against higher fire rate weapons or short-medium range weapons. There is a commonly used tactic not exclusive to the Deagle referred to as quick scoping, in which while firing you aim down sights and then exit sight in somewhat rapid succession. Doing so resets the weapon's recoil pattern, making it more accurate. Overall, this hand cannon is, if not one of the most versatile yet, deadly weapons in the arsenal of this game, excelling at long and medium quarters. The Deagle is a weak asset in handling large groups. It should not be employed in intense firefights against more many targets, unless the upper hand is landed to the user.

Patch history
This weapon's appearance and name is inspired from its real-world counterpart, the Desert Eagle XiX. This weapon is commonly called a "Deagle" to shorten its name. The V2.0.0 update made the Deagle noticeably larger in size, much like its real world version. The V2.0 update added the Gold Deagle skin which makes the gun reload slighty faster when used.
