Overview[1]
The MAC-10 is a high fire rate, compact submachine gun released on October 17th, 2020, as a part of the v1.0.0 pre-beta release of Criminality. It can only be purchased at Dealers for $1,100 with an unlock price of $146,100 at level 1, and has a level unlock of 27. very effective in close-range engagements, and it's viewed as a direct upgrade to the Uzi due to its high fire rate but lower ammo content, although tied for having the highest fire rate on the market. It naturally has high recoil, barring any chance of winning a medium range fight without closing the distance. This weapon is designed for point-blank CQC action where its DPS excels all other guns. This weapon's nature allows for mag dumps into a very unfortunate person. However, its armor penetration stat is terrible, making it very hard to defeat armored opponents, especially tier 3 armor, which is the problem with this gun. The saving grace of this gun vs armor is that if the armor is tier 2 or below, you could shoot the unarmored and vulnerable legs, but limb damage is only 12% (does as much damage as a punch), so good luck. Its medium-range capability is severely hampered and even a humble Beretta will most likely defeat this weapon, god forbid a long-range encounter.

Usage & Tactics
The MAC-10 performs similarly to the G-18, being more close-quarters-combat (CQC) oriented. Its range and recoil limit its ability to perform outside of short range as the low minimum damage, and high recoil severely hinders its usage beyond CQC. The gun's recoil is abysmal, and even more, recoil could be added by moving while firing. The good hip-firing ability of the weapon highlights its intended usage in close quarters. When hip firing, the user will be rarely engaging beyond close range. Not having to aim in close quarters can be the difference between a kill or death, as ADS can take up precious reaction time. With its high DPS and horrid recoil, it has a rather high skill ceiling letting you shred people down considering you can account for the recoil. Though it often depends on you intend to use it for, it is able to lay down consistent damage and pressure only so long as you maintain trigger discipline. With a price tag of 1,100$ it mostly just isn't worth it but in the right hands it's an extremely quick and efficient killer. One of the most powerful head to head CQC guns, great short-term, awful long-term.
Pros & Cons
Very fast fire-rate. High mobility. Decent iron sights. Mediocre level weapon. Cheap. Moderate armor penetration. Great hip fire accuracy. Can be upgraded. Burns through ammo quickly. Limited to close range. High recoil. Lowest damage for a gun, excluding shotguns.
Patch history
This weapon's appearance and name is inspired from its real-world counterpart, the MAC-10: in game it is most definitely chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. It received a buff in the ammo department on 3/24/21. It now holds 25 rounds per mag (although the MAC-10 should hold 32 rounds...). Price was increased an extra 1000 dollars after the 3/24/21 update. In real life, the MAC-10 is classified as a machine pistol, while in-game it is classified as a submachine gun. The weapon's legacy appearance was the MAC-10 from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Category:Guns
