Appearance

Brusha is a dull beige paintbrush. Her bristles droop over her face, and are dipped in three colors including purple, burgundy, and dull pink paint. She has an uninterested/bored looking expression. She wears a white turtleneck sweater and a purple apron. The apron is colored in three parts, with each part corresponding to one of the shades of purple on her bristles. Her eyes appear as semicircles, as the tops of them are covered by the base of her brush. She also has three eyelashes on the bottom of each eye. When hurt, Brusha appears to have a more visibly frustrated/annoyed expression with one of her eyes squint closed.

Personality

Brusha is an outwardly proud and arrogant Toon, who is introverted, and emotionally complex. She values skill, recognition, and especially her art highly. Her interactions reveal layers of frustration, hurt, and occasional defensiveness. She is socially cautious due to her falling out with. As mentioned in a gossip with Dandy, after the show, Brusha changed significantly, becoming very irritable and offensive due to Tisha ending their friendship. Although irritable or defensive, she has depth: her affection for art, her desire for recognition, and her subtle reactions to others' emotions demonstrate a sensitive Toon beneath the surface. Brusha has a very complicated relationship with Tisha in particular. According to her interactions, Tisha ignores Brusha, even when Brusha offers to show her some art pieces she was working on. Brusha and Tisha used to be friends, according to a Teaser for Brusha's release, where there's a photo with her and Tisha holding hands and smiling, as well the lore video in the Art Floor where Brusha tried to console Tisha about her sadness at first. However, at that point in time, a purple smudged out "X" over Tisha's face is on the photo, likely due to their fight and subsequent friendship dissolution. It's seen that they still care about each other to some extent, with Brusha trying to be friendly and share her interest with Tisha. Brusha however does lash out at Tisha sometimes, telling her to get over the Show and by extension possibly, their previous friendship.

Requirement Strategies

For the first requirement, focus on picking up Research Capsules and extracting Machines. The Machine and Capsule count increases the further you descend, so you can earn more. For the second requirement, have a Distractor Toon bring to the Elevator to you so you can get aggro. Playing as also helps getting Research faster because of his Passive Ability. This will be easier Since Twisted Brusha is a Twisted, she has a higher chance of appearing during the Floors, and you only need 25% research to be able to obtain Brusha.

Strategies

Brusha is rather well-rounded, like, having 4 Skill Check at the cost of lower Stealth. However, unlike Looey, she leans more into extraction and support with her above average Skill Check and Ability. Artistic Inspiration works somewhat like a fusion of 's Active Ability and 's Passive—granting a +50% Skill Check size boost and a +50% chance boost to any Toons within Brusha's Ability radius. This is extremely useful for Toons like, and, who all have low Skill Check values, to help them hit their Skill Checks more frequently. Though even experienced teammates, who don't miss Skill Checks often, can benefit heavily from the chance boost, extracting much faster. Unlike Shelly, she actually needs to find Toons and is unable to highlight and know their locations, making it harder to find them. Though she can listen out Also, she moves much slower in Painting Mode (-25%, slowing her down to 11.25 Walk Speed and 18.75 Run Speed, almost being around, and 's speed), which can be an issue if Brusha gets spotted while supporting her teammates, especially with her lower Stealth. However, the lower Stealth could ensure the extractor doesn't get interrupted; you act as a shield for them. Be well aware, however, you don't want to be caught off-guard while supporting a teammate due to your Ability's cooldown. Due to this, it's a good idea to have your Ability ready to toggle off if you are supporting teammates, and take advantage of Brusha's 2 Star Stealth to direct Twisteds away, then proceed to return to supporting the team.

While Brusha is using, she is shown painting the same painting that was in her Teaser, containing a purple background with purple eyes all over it. This is the same condition with her Vintage Skin, but in a monochrome color scheme and pie slit eyes. However, Brusha's Gloomy Sleeper, Scary Stylish and Autumn Palette Skins are shown painting a different portrait with the eyes crying or sad, except for Brusha's Figure Painter Skin is shown painting happier eyes.
