Appearance

Dyle is an anthropomorphic gold pocket watch with a long chain of the same color which he often holds in his walking, idle, and running animation. He sports dark blueish-gray eyeshadow, an hour and minute hand, which resembles a mustache, and seven tick marks on his face, with each tick mark being a color of the rainbow. These ticks are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, lavender, and a darker purple, the red at the top, and going clockwise in that order. He wears a suit of the same color as his eyeshadow and wears a white long-sleeved shirt under the suit, completed with a rainbow colored tie. Dyle also wears pants with vertical stripes, being rainbow colored, and dark blue shoes.

Personality

Dyle is the Toon who controls the Gardenview Train Center. He takes everything seriously and views everything in a professional light, including fellow Toons, whom he perceives as fellow colleagues instead of friends, unlike most of the other Toons. Being raised to supervise the train, Dyle, unlike the other Toons, never participated in the show. This seemed to make him very lonely, which led him to ask and if he could be in the show (as seen in a note), but this never happened. Dyle might have been isolated from the other Toons, as evidenced by the fact that his room was on a completely isolated floor and with his gossip about as he says "I don't have the luxury of friends", though he occasionally chats with Toons when he gets the chance like when he delivers food to. Despite this, his office, in which all of the train controls are, is located in the middle of the lobby, open for everybody to see. Despite his isolation and loneliness, he is heavily implied to genuinely care for the Toons around him, as seen in his gossip about, and, leaving candy out for Yatta by the trains, showing concern for Glisten's clumsiness and asking and allowing Finn to ramble on about his interests respectively. This could show that Dyle does have downtime to be with the other Toons, even though he was meant for the trains. Overall, Dyle can be summed up as a professional, no-nonsense Toon, though it seems he is isolated from most Toons, taking advantage of every opportunity he can get to be with them.

Gameplay

Dyle can be seen in the lobby. When interacted with, his shop opens. In his shop, he sells Skins and Stickers for Ichor. There is also an option in his shop for Gamepasses, which can be bought with Robux. Like, Dyle can also gossip with the player, giving his thoughts on certain things in Gardenview such as other Toons. There is currently no way to play as him (unless you are one of the developers in Dandy's World), with the exception of Roleplay mode.

Patch history

Dyle's name is a pun on the word 'Dial' and maybe on the male name 'Kyle', and his last name (Timesly) is a pun on the word 'Time' or 'Timely'. His name in old English means secret or hidden, which would make sense since he isn't in the show but rather a secret Toon who operates the trains. As stated in his Twisted counterpart's description and implied in his Gossip about, Dyle was the only Toon who saw the outside world, and the only one who had access to the train that left Gardenview. No other Toon had access to that specific train. Dyle is the second Toon since, who was added upon release, appearing almost 14 months after Dandy's World was released. Dyle's designation number is OA-001, with the "OA" most likely standing for Operational Assistant, but he is still in the Lethal category. This makes sense as he has no role in the show, operating the trains instead. It could also stand for "Off-Air" since he wasn't intended to be put in the show, according to a radio transcript. According to Dyle's Gossip about, his animal preferences are ponies. Because of this, there is a common belief that Dyle is a fan of, albeit it's not directly said or confirmed. When asked in the Third YouTube Livestream, Qwel stated she wasn't brave enough to give an answer for if Dyle likes My Little Pony. In the "It Was All a Dream 💤" video, a music box version of the intro theme of My Little Pony can be heard, meaning Dyle does know My Little Pony. Dyle is one of the two un-playable Toons, with the other being Dandy. If we consider other Minor Toons like and, that number rises to 4.
