Abandoned Buildings; 1 Metal; 1 Component The Camera is a Tool item in Dead Rails.
The Camera can be used to take photos of players in game, opening them into a 3rd-perspective viewpoint for 5 seconds. After the 5 seconds ends, the players will snap back into first person, with a pop-up asking them if they want to keep the screenshot they took with the Camera. The Camera can be found in safezone General Stores for $35 and can be found in any Abandoned Building. Cameras can't be purchased at the Lobby before entering a game. Additionally, Cameras can't be sold either. Other than taking photos in-game, the Camera doesn't have any beneficial usage.

Trivia
The Camera can be welded to the roof of the Train cab while the player is seated, allowing use of third-person mode to view the entire Train. If the player holds any Gun while using this glitch, their arms will appear on screen, and they can shoot outward in third person. This can be used to still see while completely armoring up the Train with Metal Sheets to have no holes left, which is very safe but is tedious because you will see an popup every 5 seconds if you want to see as a driver.
