The Chestplate is a piece of Armor that can be purchased for $125 in the General Store, if available. It can also be found in Outlaw Camps or Abandoned Sheriff Offices. The Chestplate is the strongest piece of armor available, providing the highest damage reduction among all three armor options. It was previously sold for $75, but it is now sold for $50. It can be unequipped by pressing on the torso of the character icon in your inventory.

Effects
The Chestplate provides the player with a flat +20% damage reduction.
Patch history
The Chestplate is the most expensive armor piece at $125 or 10 Bonds, compared to other options like the Shoulder Armors ($75) and Helmet (7 Bonds). However, it is significantly more cost efficient compared to the Shoulder Pads. The Ironclad class always spawns with a Chestplate, along with all the other Armor pieces. However, it comes with a 10% speed reduction. The Knight class spawns with a Helmet and Chestplate, but without Shoulder Armor. A full armor set gives a 50% damage reduction, or 35% without the Helmet. Due to a patched bug, players can keep the damage reduction from removed pieces of Armor until they die or another piece of equipment is equipped in that slot. Category:Items Category:Armor
