Alien Biome, or Alien Desert, is a biome variant in Dead Rails, exclusive to the Edison's Revenge gamemode and the Alien (Class).
The Alien Biome resembles a brown wasteland with a thick, greenish atmosphere. The biome is littered with abandoned, rusty UFOs. Groups of 1-5 Aliens can spawn throughout the biome, some using ranged weapons while others rely on melee attacks. Additionally, a UFO may occasionally fly overhead and attempt to spawn Aliens directly on players.

Patch history
If you look underground under the graves with the Free Camera mode, you will find that there is no part underground. There is simply only a tombstone on the surface. The ground of the Alien Biome has the same texture as Cerebrus Blood. Originally, the alien biome was limited to Edison's Revenge, but now it can be spawned if there is at least one Alien (Class) present. As of the 28/2/2026 update, this alien biome spawns ores that can be mined for Ray Ammo. Category:Locations Category:Biomes Category:Unique Biomes
