Overview[1]
+Acid; Corrosioneer; 5 Metal; 1 Component The Acid Mine is an explosive in Dead Rails.
The Acid Mine must be welded onto something and stepped on by a player or entity in order to detonate. The explosion will spawn a massive acid puddle that applies a strong damage over time to those who come in contact with it. The acid can also be picked up with a Glass Bottle. It does not deal any explosive damage. It can occasionally be found occasionally in Abandoned Buildings. The Corrosionieer class also starts with one.

Strategies
Players can use a Glass Bottle if they want to collect the acid from the puddle the explosion leaves. Make sure to have Snake Oil before doing this to regain any health you lose in case you accidentally come in contact with it (unless you are using the Corrosionieer class).
Patch history
The Acid Mine is effectively an acid version of the Landmine. It is recommended to be very careful after welding one, as it can instantly kill an unarmored player. The Acid Mine can trigger other explosives despite not dealing any explosion damage itself. The same happens to the Acid Barrel.
