Log is a Trash catch in Fisch, found anywhere — sells for about 17 C$ per kg. In-game bestiary: “A large log of wood that must have drifted on to shore. Could be great for house projects!”
The Log is a Trash item obtainable anywhere. Due to its low rarity, it makes for an easy catch, moving slowly across the fishing bar. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a bell sound is played - as with all Trash fish. It must need to be a Anomalous Log to be able to craft the Merlin's Staff.

Obtainment
The best place to obtain Log is at the pier in Roslit Bay, the shore of Sunstone Island, or the pond in Ancient Isle using either a Training Rod or Flimsy Rod. Due to the low weight of Log, you should be able to catch it quickly. The Fast Rod is also recommended.
