The Magma Rod is a Stage Fishing Rod obtained by completing Orc's Quest in Roslit Bay.
The Magma Rod is a volcanic-themed rod in Fisch featuring a fiery aesthetic that resembles molten magma. The rod’s shaft emits a golden-orange glow, giving the appearance of being forged from lava. The Magma Rod is lava-proof, enabling players to fish in the magma pools of Roslit Volcano. The only other rod capable of fishing in this area is the Reinforced Rod, as all other rods are unable to withstand the intense heat and corrosiveness of the lava. However, the Magma Rod has basic stats, including a 0% resilience. Apart from its ability to fish in Roslit Volcano and having a 10% Chance to apply the Ember (3x) mutation, the rod is recommended for general use in the game.

Obtainment
The Magma Rod is awarded for completing the Orc’s quest at Roslit Bay. The Orc is located at the end of a hidden passageway within the Roslit Volcano. To obtain the rod, the player must give the Orc a Pufferfish—a fish that grows in size—in exchange for what he refers to as “a stick he found,” which turns out to be the Magma Rod. Upon receiving the Pufferfish, the Orc keeps it and rewards the player with the Magma Rod and the Orc's Best Friend title. With the help of the Fish Radar, players can identify an area near the Roslit Lighthouse where Pufferfish are abundant, making them easier to catch.
Notes
It is highly recommended to use the Reinforced Rod instead of the Magma Rod for fishing in Roslit Volcano, as the Reinforced Rod offers superior lure speed and is better in general.
Patch history
The Magma Rod is one of the only three rods that can fish on lava, the other one being the Reinforced Rod and Onirifalx As of update 1.14.0, any rod with the Invincible enchantment can fish in Roslit Volcano.
