Overview
The Wisdom Rod is one of the best mid-Game rods, even going into late-Game and being one of the most beneficial rods for levelling up. Its passive gives a 5% XP bonus every perfect catch streak. However, the rod's overall lackluster stats cause it to struggle in practice against the higher-rarity fish that provide the most XP in the game. Additionally, its demanding ingredient requirements can cost miIIions of C$ C$ to obtain through the Appraiser. Altogether, the rod is highly recommended for both mid-game and late-game due to it's XP gaining capabilities. However, without the right enchantments, the Wisdom Rod is difficult to use, which can cause it to fall behind in mid-Game content and beyond.
Obtainment
The Wisdom Rod can be crafted by using the Crafting station located inside the Ancient Archives. Required Level: 80 Price: 0C$ C$ 1x Ruby Can be obtained from a Meteor at Ancient Isle. 2x Mythical Driftwood Can be obtained from crab cages, from fishing anywhere (higher chance with a Mythical Rod), or by appraising Driftwood. 1x Magic Thread Can be obtained by fishing anywhere or from inside Treasure Chests found with treasure maps.
Notes
Despite being a XP concentrated rod, it still is underwhelming compared to other rods with Insight or Clever. It's low combined with the low and makes it unreliable for constant farming and makes it harder to catch fishes of higher rarity. The boost it gives every now and then does not make up for it's low stats on exp farming. This rod appears to be bugged, the counting on the rod catch streak is reportedly random and does not always apply every 5 consecutive successful catches. BoxStyle| BoxStyle
