Deadly Virus is one of the 13 disasters in Natural Disaster Survival. During a deadly virus, a randomly selected player will be infected with the virus, coughing and sneezing out purple droplets at varying distances on the map, which will spread the virus upon player contact. While infected, players will begin to lose health and start to die.

Tips & tricks
Have ample room or multiple routes to flee from infected players.
Avoid buildings, as they may be cramped with players and have a lack of escape routes.
With the Red Apple Gamepass, continuously consuming an apple will allow infected players to survive for a while, even they were infected early on (you will have about 1/4 of your full health left).
Being at places hard to reach, such as the top of buildings, may help in avoiding infected players.
If you are infected, DO NOT MOVE so others have a better chance at surviving.
It is usually easy to tell which players are infected because their health bar shows when below full health.

This disaster is inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic, which was widespread throughout the world when the virus update was released. This resulted in controversy among some players.
This is the first and, currently, the only disaster that does not damage structures. This is because the disaster only affects players and encourages them to stay apart, because if a structure is destroyed, it will be harder to distance from other people and avoid infection droplets.
