EasyDisastersNatural Disaster Survival

Overview[1]

Blizzard is one of the 13 disasters in Natural Disaster Survival. During a blizzard, the sky will gain a white haze, and players' screens will be covered with falling snow. Players out in the open are exposed to the blizzard and will gradually lose health. Building parts exposed to the blizzard will be colored white, dislodged, and sometimes flown away.

Guide

Blizzards can be easily identified by seeing if a white haze appears on the horizon, along with the sky turning foggy and white. These effects are also accompanied by storm clouds and a windy soundtrack. Have sufficient shelter and be surrounded by large surfaces, walls, or other players to avoid taking damage from the blizzard. With the Red Apple Gamepass, continuously consuming an apple will be enough to survive a blizzard. Consider being in areas surrounded by more walls and objects, such as the corners of buildings and underneath staircases. Consider being on the lowest floor of a building, similarly to a Thunderstorm, Acid Rain, or Meteor Shower. Avoid being in the direction of flying objects or outside a building. Be more active in moving shelter to shelter on maps with no large buildings, such as Arch Park or Fort Indestructible.

Trivia

There are three different snowy screen effects that will show based on how exposed a player is to the blizzard. In stages 1 and 2, no damage will be dealt. While in stage 3, the blizzard will deal gradual damage to the player's health. The snow animation covers players' screens despite being indoors or as a spectator in the Lobby. Like a Sandstorm, Blizzards can fling parts away, but are weaker. However, unlike sandstorms, where shelter is NOT advised due to flying blocks, during blizzards it is recommended to take cover to prevent excess damage from the blizzard. If Blizzard is paired with Earthquake, Volcanic Eruption, Tornado, Flash Flood, Tsunami, or Sandstorm in a multi disaster round, it is impossible to survive without red apple
