Guide

This disaster has no warning signs (aka Sunny Weather). There are a total of 6 disasters with no warning signs. Watch the skies and avoid the paths of meteors. thumb|Sound of an in-game Meteor soundID: 96485431 Find tall shelter with multiple layers for protection against the meteors. Alternatively, stay on the edges of the islands, where there is a seemingly lower chance of getting struck. Avoid being too high up, like at Modest Headquarters, because a meteor can hit you within a few seconds if you’re at the top. thumb|The sound when the meteor hits something in-game soundID: 96485468Look up at the sky all the time, even if you don't want to do it, it's recommended to do that since you'll indicate where the meteors are hitting at.

Trivia

Servers with more lag may slow down the meteors' fall, allowing players to respond more effectively. On the contrary, lag can make meteors dangerous and unpredictable, because the player can't tell where the meteors are hitting at. So, it's possible for a player to get hit by a meteor. But be extremely careful, as parts of destroyed buildings can hit you and push you into the water. Meteors may be affected by other disasters in a Multi-Disaster, such as Acid Rain, Blizzard, Sandstorm, and Tornado. Meteors never fly straight and spawn in the middle. Each meteor has a 0.002475% chance of flying straight and a 0.002475% chance to spawn exactly in the middle of the map, with a 0.0000000613% chance of both happening to the same meteor This is because in the game's code, it picks a random velocity and position between -100 to 100 for the X and Z axis, so a 0 (straight/middle) is possible to get Meteors spawn at a rate of 1 per half a second, meaning a total of 180 spawn per round (since the disaster lasts 90 seconds)
