Disasters are the main mechanics of Natural Disaster Survival. Disasters can vary heavily, with each of them requiring varying strategies to survive. The main goal of the game is to survive a disaster, with a survival point being awarded each time a player survives.

Prediction Guide
Although there's always a disaster warning that is displayed to all players at the beginning of a disaster, there are some disasters that come with early warning signs that the specific disaster is approaching which allow the players to predict the disaster before the disaster warning, whereas some do not. Acid Rain: The wind soundtrack plays immediately after the players are teleported to the map. Avalanche: A rocky slant-like structure appears after teleporting the players to the map. It appears immediately after the round starts. Blizzard: A white haze will gradually thicken on the horizon, signifying a Blizzard. Sandstorm: A sandy-colored haze will gradually thicken, signifying a Sandstorm. Thunderstorm / Tornado / Flash Flood: Storm clouds appear along with a wind soundtrack, however none of the warning signs in the disasters above appear, aka Cloudy weather. Deadly Virus / Earthquake / Fire / Meteor Shower / Tsunami / Volcanic Eruption: None of the warning signs in the disasters above appear, aka Sunny weather. Note: With the exception of multi-disasters, the same disaster will not appear twice consecutively.
Patch history
During the early versions of Natural Disaster Survival, a popular bug known as the Weather Forecast glitch was primarily used to forecast weather. The glitch could be performed by remembering the number of disasters a player had survived, which was in the now-deprecated Stats menu. After a new round started, the player could have checked the Stats again, and if a number had been changed, then the disaster corresponding to the number will be the current disaster during the round. The glitch no longer works, after the deprecation of the Stats menu. Before the September 2023 update, the volcano would spawn 15 seconds before a warning was issued, showing a volcanic eruption was about to occur. However, it now spawns as the same time as the warning card, but it will still take 15 seconds to erupt. Category:Disasters
