Overview[1]
The Tsunami is one of the 13 disasters in Natural Disaster Survival. During a tsunami, a large tidal wave heads quickly towards the map, obliterating any structures hit and killing players that come in contact with the wave.

Guide
Similar to a Flash Flood, you must seek high and stable ground. Don't go too high up, because the tsunami will likely destroy the structure, and you will either die from fall damage, be submerged by the tsunami, or get flung off the map. If you time it right, you can easily leap over the tsunami with the balloon. In older versions of the game, the green balloon allowed it to completely jump over the tsunami. This is also possible now, but you will have to use tab glitch (for PC in non-fullscreen game mode, hold down the Roblox icon in the upper left corner) for 2-3 seconds, and wait for the tsunami to go away, then unfreeze your client. If you do not have a balloon, you can jump behind the tsunami if you are above on a structure. Get to the top of a structure slightly above the tidal wave but not too high because the structure needs to be stable with a good base. When the tsunami passes, jump off the structure.
Trivia
If you survive a tsunami in Surf Central, you will earn the badge "Surf's Up!" Unlike a flash flood, it will rip through buildings instead of slowly damaging parts. The tsunami is as tall as the first floor of the Lobby. Although the tsunami looks very high, its height is reduced when it hits the island. Tsunamis don't actually instantly kill you when it comes in contact with you. They dissolve your body parts, meaning you can lose limbs. You will die if your torso or head is destroyed. It is fairly common for the tsunami's sound effect to be played abnormally loud for seemingly no reason. The volume is the same everywhere in the game. It is currently unknown what causes the sound, but it does not affect gameplay. A tsunami lasts for 2 minutes and 10 seconds. The tsunami behaves similarly to other disasters when hitting buildings like those in Surf Central. Sometimes but uncommonly, a Tsunami can fully wipe out a map if there aren't many parts like those in Arch Park, or Rainbow Ride. Tsunamis are colored waves of Bright Blue with a foil material.
