PVP 8

MapsTower Defense Simulator

Overview

PVP_8 was a map split into two parts. These parts were identical, except one was colored red while the other was blue, and the sides were flipped. It was a basic baseplate with multiple cliffs on it, though none of them actually counted as cliff spots. There was a large brick next to the path, which acted as a cliff.

Design & Path

PVP_8 was a map split into two parts. These parts were identical, except one was colored red while the other was blue, and the sides were flipped. It was a basic baseplate with multiple cliffs on it, though none of them actually counted as cliff spots. There was a large brick next to the path, which acted as a cliff. The path started at one edge of the map and ended at another. The entire path was straight.

Strategy

Due to the entire path being straight, towers that can slow down enemies, like the Sledger, Freezer and Cryomancer are heavily recommended to slow enemy movement, as the distance to the exit is rather short. The Trapper can be a great choice for early game, as the straight path will not negatively impact its performance. The placement of support towers, like DJ Booth, should depend on what area most towers are located. Cliff towers such as the Ranger can still be useful in this map, as their range allows them to cover the entire map regardless of its placement.

Update History

19 July 2024 - v1.26.0 PVP_8 added. 23 July 2024 - v1.26.2 PVP_8 removed.

Trivia

The intermission lobby lists SorenDerg as one of the creators. However, they were not actually involved in creating this map and have not even been active in the Tower Defense Simulator community since early 2023.
