Description
The Frost Blaster is a tower that pierces through and freezes any enemy hit by its projectile. It could have been unlocked by triumphing Village of Despair during the Christmas 2019 Event. It could have also been through a limited time gamepass for 350 Robux. It is currently available again for 699 Robux. The Frost Blaster starts out with decent damage, gaining more damage at higher levels and it also has a somewhat high firerate. However, it fires piercing projectiles that freezes enemies when hit. Any enemy with the Freeze Immunity cannot be slowed down, frozen or have its Defense dropped by the Frost Blaster. This makes Frost Blaster an offensive support hybrid since it has a higher DPS than the Freezer. Starting at Level 2, the Frost Blaster will melt 15% defense every tick, though it can only decrease an enemy's defense by 33%. For example, if an enemy has 50% defense, it will be decreased by 16%. The Frost Blaster is mostly considered as an early to midgame tower, though it can sometimes be considered as an all-around tower. Its relatively low-medium placement cost and decent DPS can be useful in the early game, while its later upgrades and relatively higher DPS can be sufficient in the mid to late game. Though, this tower should mainly be used as a staller and crowd control tower due to its freezing and piercing capabilities. The Frost Blaster has a placement limit of 12 per player.

Strategy
The Frost Blaster's piercing projectile makes it a great tower for early and mid-game. For earlier waves, a Level 0-2 Frost Blaster can be effective at killing enemies that spawn, though by the time high health singular enemies spawn, like the Elite Abnormal, it should be upgraded to Level 3 because of its higher DPS and better chilling Later on in the game the Frost Blaster does not have enough DPS to deal with enemies like the Fallen Giant or Hidden Boss on its own, meaning that you need other towers alongside it. It can, however, be useful at chilling enemies and decreasing their Defense. Unlike other freezing towers, the Frost Blaster only chills an enemy. Larger enemies, like the Fallen Giant will get slowed down for a shorter amount of time. Additionally, it cannot slow down any enemy that has the Freeze Immunity. It can still apply the chillness slowdown effect to Boss enemies, as long as it does not have Freeze Immunity. However, the slowdown effect will be much weaker. The Level 3 is especially good at slowing down, as its freeze time and firerate are nearly identical, allowing to close to permanently slow down smaller enemies. The Frost Blaster's Defense melting ability can be useful for decreasing an enemy's Defense, allowing your towers to deal more damage to it. However, do note that as the defense melting happens when an enemy is slowed down. Because of this, freeze immune enemies cannot have their defense melted.

Trivia
The Frost Blaster is the oldest tower in the game that has yet to receive a skin. The Frost Blaster, Sniper, Engineer, DJ Booth, bottom path Pursuit and Commander are the only towers that can damage all enemies, no matter their immunities.
