MobsBee Swarm Simulator

Overview[1]

Chicks are mobs that were added as part of the Egg Hunt 2020 event. They could spawn in a variety of places depending on their type, and have a special ability to hide inside their eggshells, increasing their defense and the chance for a bee's attacks to be blocked. There are five different types of chicks: Chicks, Hostage Chicks, Spotted Chicks, Commando Chicks, and Mondo Chicks. Chicks, Spotted Chicks and Hostage Chicks cannot deal damage to players while the Commando Chick and Mondo Chick can. When a chick loses all of its health points, it gets captured, and the game will notify the player in the chat.

Chick

Normal Chicks were passive mobs that could have appeared in the Sunflower Field and would spawn randomly when players were collecting pollen. The chicks could've spawned with a level range of 1–15. They could only spawn if the player had Black Bear's Sunflower Corral Quest active. Honey Sunflower seeds Treats

Hostage Chick

The Hostage Chicks were passive mobs that had a chance of spawning after defeating a hostile mob or a Boss (Defeating ants or other chicks would not spawn a hostage chick). They could spawn with a level range of 1-15 and would always despawn 30 seconds after spawning. Mobs that are more difficult to defeat, such as Tunnel Bear, were more likely to cause a hostage chick to spawn. Hostage chicks that spawn from more difficult mobs will have higher health, level, and better rewards than ones that spawn from easier mobs. Honey. Treats. Strawberries. Blueberries. Sunflower seeds. Pineapples. Bitterberries. Gumdrops. Micro-converters. Magic Bean.

Spotted Chick

The Spotted Chicks were passive mobs that could appear inside of the Noob Shop, Pro Shop, Ticket Tent, and the Blue Maze. Spotted chicks could spawn with a level range of 3–9. Capturing a spotted chick would cause another spotted chick to spawn in a different location. If a spotted chick was captured in the Noob Shop, another spotted chick would spawn in the Ticket Tent, and vice versa. Similarly, if a spotted chick was captured in the Pro Shop, another spotted chick will spawn in the Blue Maze, and vice versa. Honey. Treats. Strawberries.

Commando Chick

The Commando Chick is a mini-boss that spawns in its hideout. Its hideout is located to the left of Brown Bear and the Wealth Clock. To cut the vines, the Clippers, Scissors, Scythe, or Dark Scythe needs to be equipped. Once the vines are cut, they will never grow back. The Commando Chick has a respawn time of 30:00 (25:30 with Gifted Vicious Bee). When Commando Chick hides in its egg, it throws grenades (1 if it has more than 2/3 of its health, 2 if it has less than 2/3 of its health, 3 if it has less than 1/3 of its health, 4 if less than 1/100). The egg cracks after a few seconds, also causing it to stop moving for a few seconds. The Commando Chick deals 20 damage when colliding with the player and 50 damage if the player is near a grenade when it explodes. Starting at 150 health and level 3, the chick increases in health and level with each successive capture, reaching level 6 by the fifth capture. The chick will grow another level after a progressively higher number of captures per level up. Note: Loot Luck doesn't affect Commando Chick drops. Honey From Tokens will increase the honey output of each capture. Many drops will always occur after a certain number of Commando Chick captures. Note that you can capture Commando Chick more than 100 times, but it is not recorded in the table for the purpose of convenience. Drops Mythic Egg upon the 50th capture. Drops Star Treat upon the 100th capture. After 200 captures, Commando Chick drops a Commander Bee Egg.

Mondo Chick

The Mondo Chick is a level 8 boss mob located in the Mountain Top Field. It respawns every hour at the full hour (1:00, 2:00, 3:00, etc.; not in time zones that are a fractional number of hours away from UTC), and its respawn timer can be found on the side of the Mountain Top Shop. The respawn time is unaffected by the Monster Respawn Time stat. Its rewards are shareable between players. The Mondo Chick will always spawn at level 8 with 300,000 health. It automatically takes 333 damage each second, causing its health to reach 300 after 15 minutes. If it isn't defeated within 15 minutes of spawning, it will despawn in a similar fashion of the Commando Chick. After despawning, a server-wide message will say "🐣Mondo Chick got away!🐣" Like the Coconut Crab, the faster the Mondo Chick is defeated, the better the rewards will be. Due to its large hitbox and damage, it is recommended to put distance between the player and the Mondo Chick. Sometimes, the Mondo Chick will hide in its egg, allowing it to block some attacks. However, when it is hiding, it stops moving until it comes out again. The egg can be cracked early by dealing 7500 damage to it. When it runs out of time, it will jump out of the field towards the Lion Bee Gate entrance. Honey. Treats. Bitterberries. Snowflakes (Beesmas only). Neonberries. Field dice. Micro-converters. Magic beans (Somewhat rare). Star jellies (Rare). Snowglobes (Rare, Beesmas only). Diamond eggs (Very rare; chance varies depending on time). Basic Pink Hive Skin (Very rare) Mythic eggs (Very rare; chance varies depending on time).

Patch history

According to Sun Bear, the chicks are invasive to the Mountain. Their eggs are also considered exotic. According to Mother Bear, the Spotted Chicks dislike the sun. According to Black Bear, Bees don't hurt chicks when attacking. They work together to calm them down and capture them as they are "frightened". Although other player's Commando Chicks can't damage the player directly, their grenades can. A player's bees can also damage other players' Commando Chicks. Interestingly, the Commando Chick is considered a mini-boss although every player has their “own” Commando Chick. The Mondo Chick's noise can be heard throughout the entire map. This is also the case with the Cave Monsters. The Mondo Chick is the only mob that has a fixed spawn point in the Mountain Top Field. The Spotted Chick is the only mob in the game that spawned in shops. During the soft launch of the Egg Hunt 2020 update, the Mondo Chick only had 250,000 health. It was later changed to 300,000 the following day. Because Rogue Vicious Bee's spikes can deal damage to mobs, it is possible for one to spawn in the Mountain Top Field and assist in killing the Mondo Chick. If the player already has the Mondo Chick Blessing buff and defeats another Mondo Chick, the new blessing will override the old buff, resetting its timer and possibly degrading or upgrading the buff depending on the time took to defeat the Mondo Chick. Mondo Chick, Stick Nymphs and Festive Nymphs are the only mobs in the game that take damage without any things attacking it.
