Usage & Tactics

The only thing which brings down the RPG is the immense cost to maintain and keep hold of it. It has a hefty price tag of $12,000 and a level requirement of 50. After your 3 rockets are fired, you must spend another $1000 to refill, so use your ammo efficiently, as when you start using this, you will soon be hunted. It is recommended to purchase this weapon without the idea of grinding profit in mind, but to either have some goofy fun trolling the server for a bit, or kit up a lot in order to get a fun kill spree in before dying. If your usage purpose suits the latter, you will most likely opt for either Tier 2 or 3 armor (depending on the budget) and a powerful automatic such as the AKS-74U, M4A1 or AKM. It's also recommended to have at least a few friends to protect you if you plan to survive an engagement of more than 2 decently equipped players. Something to understand is that fired rockets have a "stage system." When you fire the rocket, it must travel for about 1.5 seconds to enter "Stage 2," where the rocket will have a higher blast radius. You can still fire it from short ranges, which would be "Stage 1," which will have a shorter blast radius. The price and refill price usually means that this is reserved for high bounties or multiple players. Its price and its mid-long range limitations make this an extremely situational weapon. Its close-quarters capabilities are still lethal; however, you would most likely blow yourself up along with your enemy.

Pros and Cons

Extremely high damage. Nearly impossible to dodge a fully traveled rocket. Extreme knockback can fling people into buildings, killing them if the explosion itself did not. Long to Medium range. Giant explosion radius. High chance of instantly blowing a person into pieces and instantly killing them. Great for eliminating big groups of people. Can be found in a golden crate. Must be level 50 or 1,000,000$ (Prebuy) to purchase (Prevents mass use). It's Golden Counterpart has an increased blast radius. Extremely expensive. Long reload time. Expensive to refill. Takes 8 inventory slots. Often makes you a target to the majority of the server. The rocket needs to travel certain distance to achieve max explosion radius. Must never be off guard while using. Firing makes a very loud sound which WILL alert people that a rocket is coming their way. To profit from this weapon, you’d need to eliminate a 10k bounty player and several others in one shot, given its high cost and ammo. The rocket begins to lose height and stability as it travels further.

Patch history

There is an RCU variant of the RPG-7, the Panzerfaust-3 There is no Renting capability for this gun, you must be level 50+ or unlock it for one million to purchase this gun. Previously, alongside the Mare, it was locked behind a level cap, no exceptions. It can be assumed Criminality's slow but steady decline in new dedicated players caused this change. The RPG-7 is cheaper in Rebel Dealers This weapon's appearance and name is inspired from its real-world counterpart, the RPG-7 Remodelled in the v1.3.1 update. In real life, the RPG-7 would not have any recoil because of the exhaust pipe in the back. As all explosives in-game, the RPG-7 can destroy safes and cash registers. Category:Guns Category:Explosives
