Twisted Coal's most notable feature is that her speed raises drastically in Blackouts, going from 16 to 25. Normally she is very slow, so if you get her on a normal floor, you should be fine. However, if you get her in a blackout, avoiding her is crucial for survival.

Her head is connected with a thick line of Ichor, and her head has two black, jagged ears. Her head looks similar to a rat's head, except that she has canine-like teeth in the front of her mouth. However, she keeps the black bone snowflake-like marks on her cheeks like her counterpart. Twisted Coal also has red sclerae, black irises, and red pupils in the middle. Her eyebrows are thicker and make her have an enraged expression. Her large red saddlebags are torn apart; however, the flag attached to it is completely intact.
Strategies
On normal Floors, Twisted Coal doesn't pose much of a threat due to her speed. However, her attention span does make it harder to lose her as she might turn towards you if you're trying to shake her off by going around an island. When trying to escape her, maintain your speed and don't turn too fast if you're around an island. The most preferable way is by going to a table and walking around it while staying out of her sight. This way, you can lose her pretty easily. On Blackouts however, you need to be careful. With her speed being equivalent to that of 's, and her heightened detection range and hearing radius, you should avoid getting into her sight at all costs—especially if the Toon you're using has 2 or lower Movement Speed, as it is not enough to outrun her. Overall, when dealing with her, use a similar strategy to facing Twisted Bobette: try your best to not get in sight. If she does spot you, quickly go around an island and cling to it while making sharp turns until she loses interest in you. However, this may be harder to do due to her high attention span, as once you're back inside her line of sight, you'll be spinning around the island longer, which could cause you to lose lots of Stamina and get you hit in the process. Unlike Twisted Bobette, she can be more difficult to spot due to her smaller size, dark color palette, and to her lack of sound emission. In this case, and 's Abilities can be useful to help spot and avoid her. It's best to carry around speed or Stamina Items like s, s, and to help you get away from her.

Twisted Coal is rewarded a significant speed boost in Blackouts, being as fast as. As a matter of fact, Twisted Coal basically becomes a silent Twisted Pebble, with her speed, attention, and detection range being identical to his and (only difference is Twisted Brusha's hearing range being 25 units less than them).
